We took a little day trip through to see the Christmas festivities in Edinburgh yesterday. Such good fun. Turns out the little lady is an adrenaline junkie!

She had a wonderful time in Santaland! There are quite a few different rides: a little dragon rollercoaster, a helter skelter, reindeer ride (with bubble snow and bells to jingle), a little (quite fast) car ride for the tiny thrill-seeker, a Santa train plus loads more.

The cost of each ride is £2.50 – £4 so quite expensive. (You don’t need to pay for accompanying adults like in George Square though!)

It’s definitely worth a visit (during the day when it’s not too busy – if not, you can get tickets for rides online in advance) but be warned: you will need at least a little wad of cash if you want to go on a couple of the rides!

We’re really looking forward to the Irn Bru Carnival now!

TIP: there are really good changing facilities across the road from Edinburgh’s Christmas Festival/Market up on the top floor in John Lewis.
