Seriously. Dr Seuss is my new favourite author. I never had any Dr Seuss books as a kid (I don’t think they had reached the UK from the US yet).
I got my little lady a couple of toddler board book versions of Green Eggs And Ham and Fox In Sox. I love reading them to her, and she loves them too. In fact, I love reading them even when she’s in bed. But anyway, they are full of lovely messages. We’ll definitely be reading more.
We went along to a great wee baby/toddler morning in Jayz Bar in Shawlands this morning. It’s busy, boisterous & very noisy; there’s music, singing, lots of toys to play with and stories for the little ones. Plus some toast…

We took a trip with some mummy & baby friends to Penny Black Glasgow this morning – the new cafe/post office/card shop on Great Western Rd. The Verdict Good tea, delish cake, friendly staff, amazing cards… Lovely place! Highly recommended.
I’m sure I came across this a while ago, but it seems so much funnier now that I live with a toddler!
