We took advantage of the dry weather last night & got a bit Christmassy down at George Square.
There is so much to see and do down there at this time of year, and it’s so beautiful all lit up! We spent a while wandering around seeing the big wheel, ice rink, huge Christmas tree & Christmas lights, listening to the carol singers and of course having a go on the hobby horses. (It’s free for a wander round, but the carousel (and I’d therefore assume everything else) is quite pricey – £3 for a kid and £2.50 for accompanying adult – so just be prepared for that!)
The little lady is too small to go on the chair swing ride and too young for the ice rink, but she had a fab time looking at all the lights & watching the skaters.
There are food carts and a shop, balloon sellers and a bar. It’s well worth a wee visit if you have an evening free.
We made a family date night of it and went for dinner too.
Glasgow really is lovely when it’s not pouring!
