Glasgow’s (almost) One Hundred Parks
I needed some motivation to get us spending time outside, so a few weeks ago I decided I was going to try to visit every park in Glasgow over the next few months. And I made a big list of every park in Glasgow!

It’s been a while… Hope you’re all doing ok in these anxious and bizarre and difficult times…
When my first baby came along, one of the most important things to me was getting out of the house. So for any first time parents out there, here is a little list of my favourite things to do with a new baby. Things I wish I’d done more of when it was easy to!
This is a guest post by Karen over at Mothering and Other Stories. She’s got some great ideas for days out in Stirlingshire!
We’ve been going to Turtle Tots swimming lessons for a while now, and getting everything ready the night before makes a huge difference to my stress levels!
A little update on how the kids are both doing in the pool since they have both been at their swimming lessons for a while now. Both of them are loving swimming!
The little man and I just finished our first toddler class with Turtle Tots. When we started this latest block of classes we were having a bit of a blip. But with lots of patience from our lovely swim teacher we had a mini-breakthrough and he is back to enjoying his time in the pool again.
I honestly can’t believe that my baby girl will be starting school next month. Here’s to new beginnings and lots of fantastic adventures.
It is official! I can finally tell everyone that we are Turtle Tots Ambassadors! I have been dying to tell you all for weeks but I had to wait (along with 5 other bloggers from around the country) until the official announcement was made at the beginning of May.

I was asked to take part in a blogger challenge to find Christmas outfits for the kids from the shops in the St Enoch Centre. So baby boy and I took a wee shopping trip…
I’d like to give a MASSIVE shout out to the truly lovely staff at Briarlands Farm in Stirlingshire. I haven’t ever written about the place before as this was our first visit. I will do when I get the chance.
We’ve only ever been to Bread Meats Breads as a couple before; on those nights we’re out without children, living it up in the city… But I was having a look at the new Bread Meats Bread on Great Western…
We got a beautiful outdoor family photo shoot done by Jo from Mei Photography last year before baby boy came along. Here is a little look at the pics.
There are lots of Christmassy things I’d like to do with the little lady this year to make her first Christmas as a big sister a special one. This is my festive to do list…
Today has been a really weird day for me. It’s the strangest feeling knowing that this is my last day of being pregnant.
Last Saturday was due date. I spent the entire weekend, plus a few days afterwards willing baby to come out. Due date felt like reaching a huge milestone: the end of pregnancy and the beginning of a brand new chapter…
