Robertson Park is a great little park to spend a few hours. The playpark is varied, the skate park is good, there’s open space for running around. Plus there’s a cute wee pond with swans and ducks.

Valley View at Gouldings is a great day out in the Clyde Valley. There is loads to keep the kids entertained and lots of space for them to run free.

Victoria Park is one of the prettiest parks in Glasgow. It has a lovely pond with lots of birds to see, a great playpark and Fossil Grove is quite magical for the little ones.
Bellahouston Park is jammed full of art exhibits and sculptures. It’s a brilliant park and well worth a few hours exploration. The playpark at House for an Art Lover is great too. Absolutely one of our favourites in Glasgow.
Cloybank Farm has some wonderfully friendly animals. They’re always waiting for the next bag of food to come along, especially the llamas and goats. It’s a great wee place to see farm animals up close.
Gleniffer Braes is a huge park with swathes of open space to explore. It’s so near the city, but it also feels like you’re miles away. With waterfalls, loads of walks, cattle and play areas it’s great day out!
Conifox Christmas Experience was the kids favourite Christmas thing we did with them last year, so we couldn’t say no when we were asked along to the preview for their 2023 Christmas event. The National Museum of Rural Life is an excellent day out. It’s one of our favourite places to visit. There are lovely farm animals to see (and probably to give a wee pat to), lots to keep kids entertained in the museum, a little playpark, and a decent cafe as well. The tractor ride is fun for everyone too.

Summerlee is big enough to spend a few hours playing and exploring, and has lots of things to do. Best of all the museum is completely free! The tram ride is a very exciting added extra.
